If you are a dreamer, a doer, a horizon viewer - come in! come in! Announce yourself and let it be known.
The seed of adventure has been sown.

The goal is to take this boat on a trip that no other Wharram boat has taken.
From Great Slave Lake in Canada's Northwest Territories up the MacKenzie River to the Beafort Sea
and westward to the Bering Sea and south to the inside passage on the Alaska and British Columbia coast.

Finally the last of the boat has been painted. Yesterday evening I lay on my back under the cockpit and sanded. Yukky dirty work sanding upside down is! This moring I rolled the first coat of paint on and then did a second coat this afternoon. The strip of wood down the center is a safety feature. It has holes in it and will have a life line snaking throught the holes so in the event of a full capsize there will be something to hang on to and to tie things to.

Sanded underside of cockpit with test paint patch.

This time the paint dried! What a relief.
